#LMranks: A Countdown to the College Season

A new year and a new season is upon us, and with that comes predictions, prognostication and optimism. Over the months of December and January, Lacrosse Magazine will release its preseason top teams and name preseason player the year honorees across all levels of the college game.

Follow our countdown — including the high and low points of 2012, the best and worst case scenarios for 2013 and rival scouting reports for each NCAA Division I team — and join the conversation using the Twitter hashtag #LMranks.

The rankings, compiled by Lacrosse Magazine staff after consultations with coaches, predict the champions of 12 divisions of college play, including the NCAA, the US Lacrosse Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA), the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
