What Does Playing on Team USA Mean?
It's a question that everybody wonders about from time to time if they've ever had aspirations of sporting glory growing up... What would it be like to throw on the Red, White and Blue and represent your country on the fields of whatever sport you play?
Unfortunately for most of us, it remains just that - an unanswered question. But with the 2014 FIL World Championships right around the corner, Major League Lacrosse just put together a video asking members of the U.S. Men's National Team 30-man roster (from which the final 23-man roster for Denver will be selected) what getting to this point means. Among the interviewees are Paul Rabil and Ned Crotty, who played in 2010, but most - Steele Stanwick, Turker Durkin, Jesse Schwartzman, Rob Pannell and Kevin Leveille - have never played for the U.S. men at the senior level.
