"Road to the Rockies" Episide Six From The Lacrosse Network

With five episodes of its “Road to the Rockies” series on Team USA in the books, the Lacrosse Network just released No. 6 in the series, and it’s a great one. Centered around the final steps of the selection process, including the Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game, its nine minutes of great insight into the men playing for their country starting this week.

Interviews include attackman Garrett Thul, goalkeeper Jesse Schwartzman and coach Richie Meade. Thul remarks on his “playing for two Team USA’s” given his status as a second Lt. in the United States Army who deferred his desired career as an Army ranger in order to chase this opportunity to represent his country on the lacrosse field, whilc Schwartzman talks about being left off the team four years ago and how he used that for motivation.

Finally, we have coach Meade, talking about what the process of building this team has been like, as well as what it means to him to lead a team representing his country, given his background as a former U.S. Naval Academy coach.

Watch below, and check back for the final update of the series released tomorrow.
