Tewaaraton Watch Comes into Focus

Cornell junior Rob Pannell, the reigning USILA Attackman of the Year, is among favorites and 25 men's lacrosse finalists for the Tewaaraton Award.

The race for "the Heisman of lacrosse" became clearer Monday, as the Tewaaraton Award watch list was whittled down to 25 and 24 men's and women's collegiate lacrosse players, respectively.

The watch lists began with over 100 names. The latest round of nominees represent 23 different schools and some of the country's top programs. Five male and five female finalists will be selected from these nominees. Finalists will be invited to the award ceremony in June, where a male and a female winner will be honored.
