from press release

BALTIMORE, Md. – Syracuse’s 2010-11 men’s lacrosse freshman class has been ranked the second-best in the nation by Inside Lacrosse. The top five men’s classes for the upcoming season are featured in Inside Lacrosse’s annual recruiting issue available now.

The class features 19 incoming players, including nine listed among Inside Lacrosse’s “Power 100.” The Orange’s highest-ranked freshman is attackman Billy Ward (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) who checked in at No. 14. Ward was named an Under Armour All-American in 2010 after totaling 44 goals and 41 assists at C.W. Baker High School.
