Gannon Osborn (Canandaigua, N.Y.), Aedan Herman (Stafford, Va.) and Vin Chiodo (Garden City, N.Y.) all added single goals. Lafayette scored two goals, sandwiched around a Doherty score on an assist from Rice, to bring the score to 4-3 at halftime.
Radin and Herman scored twice in the first five minutes of the third quarter to bring Marist's advantage to 6-3. Patrick Eaker (Redding, Conn.) and Mike Begley (Brookeville, Md.) both registered assists on the goals.
The Leopards scored in the final 90 seconds of the quarter to cut the Red Foxes' lead to 6-4, but Nesmith brought the advantage back up to three just 41 seconds into the fourth period with an unassisted score.
Rice scored an insurance goal with 18 seconds left, on a man-up situation, to seal the win.
