Blazers Ink Merrimack Standout Rogowski

from press release

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass.
– Four-time All-American and the all-time leading scorer in Merrimack men's lacrosse history Greg Rogowski (Cohoes, NY) became the first graduate of the program to sign a professional contract as he inked a deal with the Boston Blazers of the National Lacrosse League (NLL).

Rogowski, the only four-time All-American ever at Merrimack in any sport, was a four-time first-team Northeast-10 honoree and was a two-time NE-10 Player of the Year. He led the Warriors to their first-ever Final Four appearance as a senior in 2009.

Rogowski, who played in the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League over the summer, will suit up for the Blazers when they open the 2011 season on January 8. Boston's home games are at the TD Garden.

Rogowski graduated from Merrimack in 2009.
