Salisbury's Tokosch Earns CAC Award

from press release

YORK, Pa. - The Capital Athletic Conference announced its weekly award winners on Monday and Salisbury University senior defender Collin Tokosch was named the men's lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.

The Arnold, Md., native helped lead the Sea Gulls to a 7-4 non-conference victory over visiting Washington & Lee University last Wednesday. Tokosch came away with five caused turnovers and three ground balls in the contest. The five caused turnovers matched his previous career-high, which came in the 2010 NCAA tournament victory over Springfield College. Through three games Tokosch has five ground balls, seven caused turnovers and has led the SU defense to a paltry 3.67 goals against average.

The Sea Gulls will return to action this Wednesday at McDaniel College. The game is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
