Cortland's Kaminski Earns SUNYAC Honors

CORTLAND, N.Y.
- Cortland sophomore Mike Kaminski (Sayville) has been chosen as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's lacrosse Goalie of the Week for the week ending March 13. Kaminski has won the award each of the first two weeks it has been given.

Kaminski helped guide the nationally fourth-ranked Red Dragons to two wins last week. In a 14-4 victory at Montclair State, Kaminski allowed three goals and made three saves in three quarters of play. He also recorded two ground balls and four caused turnovers. In a 9-3 win over 16th-ranked Gettysburg Saturday at the third annual Oyster Bay North-South Challenge, Kaminski stopped four shots, registered two ground balls and two caused turnovers.

For the week, Kaminski posted a 2-0 record with a .538 save percentage, 3.43 goals-against average, four ground balls and six caused turnovers. He has a 4-0 record with a .690 save percentage and a 2.51 GAA in four starts this season.
