2014 Conference Tournament Clearinghouse

NCAA Division III

Once again this spring, the NCAA Division III men's bracket will be mostly comprised of teams who earned their ticket via a conference tournament championship. Those Pool A teams will range from the shortlist of candidates to win the national championships to those programs that have barely any hope of making it out of the first round, but hoisting the conference hardware is the goal of every team at the beginning of the season and they're always important.

The 24 conference tourneys range from full quarterfinals featuring eight teams, to the SCAC, which will have only the top two teams meeting for the league crown in hopes of strengthening their Pool B credentials (the SCAC, like the MAC Freedom and the OAC, doesn't have an AQ attached to their tourney).

The first conference tournament starts this weekend, April 19, when the Southern Athletic Association kicks off its eight-team bracket with four games. The last of the league playoffs will conclude on May 4 -- aka, Selection Sunday -- when we finally start the trudge toward deciding a national champion.

Below are all the conference tournament formats and dates, which will be updated with the participants, scores and recaps as they become available. Check back this month to see who will be filling out your bracket in May.
