MCLA Div. I Poll: Longhorns Breathe Easier
We're into the postseason now and there are a lot of automatic qualifying bids to be fought over. One bid that is already in the bag belongs to Texas, who grabbed the LSA automatic qualifier by beating Texas State in the final. It's the third straight trip to the dance for the Longhorns and the seventh in program history.
Colorado State remained comfortably on top of the poll with no movement from last week among the Top 8.
Stanford (+3): The Cardinal was starting to lose some of their luster, but a clutch victory over California restored their reputation.
California (-4): Stanford smacked the Bears
around in the regular season finale, but they'll meet again in the
Virginia Tech (Out): There was a lot of promise for the Hokies this spring, but they just couldn't find a way to win the big game.
Georgia: The Bulldogs reappear in the poll
after capture the SELC championship and punching their ticket to
