Fresno Picks Up Road Win at Manhattan

team pulled off a big win on Friday afternoon against Manhattan,

In a close matchup of the two teams, there were three lead changes throughout the game. Fresno State fought hard for all 60 minutes and didn't let Manhattan get more than a two point lead all game.
Going into half time the game was tied at 4-4. The `Dogs came out strong in the second half and outscored the Jaspers 7-6 for the victory.
"I think we really executed today and finished 60 minutes strong and we came up with the win," said head coach Jessica Pausewang.
In the win Kara Concheck and Anjelica Fuccilloled the way with three goals each. Fuccillo also picked up assist and leads with Bulldogs with 18 points this season.
In full team effort, four other `Dogs scored in the teams win, including senior Lauren Natale with two goals and an assist. Natalie Harrington and Holly Cisneros also picked up a goal each for the Bulldogs.
Marcy Levatino had two points on the day and led Fresno State with three draw controls and four groundballs.
Katie Wilbur stepped up big in goal with eight saves and three groundballs.
"It was a great team effort today, and I am really excited about the momentum we have going into the Colombia game for our last nonconference game of the season," said Pausewang.
The Bulldogs are now 2-6 in their 2013 season and 2-4 in nonconference play.
