A narrow win over Loyola helped Florida solidify its hold on No. 4 behind the logjam of the North Carolina-Maryland-Syracuse trio at the top. (John Strohsacker/LaxPhotos.com)

We're into the fourth week of our composite of the major rankings in women's lacrosse, and North Carolina continues to dominate as the defending champion which hasn't had a team get anywhere near it. We also see a continuation of Maryland and Syracuse splitting the No. 2/3 zone, but that should get settled when we see the two face off tonight at the Carrier Dome.

Each week, we will publish an aggregate of the four major polls from Lacrosse Magazine, the ILWomen.com media poll, the IWLCA coaches poll and the LaxPower computer rankings. All teams that were either ranked or noted as 'received votes' in one of the polls is listed below.
