Lock Haven Cruises to PSAC Win over Kutztown

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Despite heavy rain and fierce winds, the No. 3 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (13-1, 9-1 PSAC) had things going and cruised past visiting Kutztown University (5-9, 0-9 PSAC) 17-3 today in PSAC action.

The Lady Eagles jumped out to a 14-2 halftime lead today.

Eleven different players scored for Lock Haven including Allison Berger (Oreland, Pa./Springfield) and Alex Cross (Owego, N.Y./Owego), who both netted hat tricks.

Kayleigh Johnson (Fairport, N.Y./Fairport) dished out a game-high three assists.

The Lady Eagles defense was stellar and caused 16 turnovers. Three different players recorded three caused turnovers in the win.

LHU returns to action on Thursday, April 21 at 4 p.m. when the Lady Eagles host IUP.
