by Lacrosse Magazine Staff | LaxMagazine.com | Twitter

Lacrosse Magazine, the flagship publication of US Lacrosse, will publish weekly NCAA Division III women's rankings every Monday through championship weekend in May on LaxMagazine.com. Check back each week to see who is rising, falling and new to the list. The rankings are compiled by LM staff.

For the second straight season, Salisbury finishes atop the Division III world with Trinity at No. 2, as the Sea Gulls captured their second straight NCAA crown with a victory over the Bantams in the finals. The top seed of the south, Salisbury took wins over Farmingdale State, Augustana, Franklin and Marshall and Amherst to reach the finals. Trinity defeated Castleton, Fredonia State and Gettysburg before making the finals with an upset win over top northern seed Cortland - the Red Dragons first loss of the year.
