1. McDonogh (Md.), 3-0
The Eagles coasted past Archbishop Spalding, 19-10, as Samantha Burgess scored five goals and Corinne Etchison added three. They travel to Maryvale Prep (Md.) on Wednesday.
2. Bryn Mawr (Md.), 5-0
The Mawrtians earned a hard-fought 5-3 IAAM league victory over St. Mary's (Md.). They host Roland Park Country (Md.) on Wednesday and then gear for a home game with top-ranked McDonogh (Md.).
3. Moorestown (N.J.), 1-0
Coach Deanna Knobloch won her 400th career game, improving her record over 21 years to a remarkable 400-29-4 in Saturday's 8-3 triumph over Strath Haven (Pa.). Marie McCool scored four goals and Stephanie Toy added a pair for Moorestown, which plays Wednesday at Council Rock North (Pa.).
4. Notre Dame Prep (Md.), 4-0
Molly Cobb had four goals and goalie Mary-Sean Wilcox had 13 saves as the Blazers thumped John Carroll (Md.), 13-5, in an IAAM league contest Friday. Hannah Jablonski, Elizabeth Haus and Hannah Hartman also scored two goals each for Notre Dame, which plays a big interstate game Thursday at Manhasset (N.Y.).
5. Garnet Valley (Pa.), 5-0
AnnaElise Morello had four goals and an assist and Ashley Pyle added three goals and one assist as the Jaguars toppled Strath Haven, 12-6, Thursday in a Central League game. Halley Barnes added two goals and two assists for the Jaguars, who are the top-ranked squad in Pennsylvania. Kate Stroup had nine saves and Lizahn Visser and Coley Ricci led the defense. The Jaguars also topped Good Counsel (Md.), 9-5, on Monday and have a key league game ahead against Radnor (Pa.).
6. Georgetown Visitation (D.C.), 6-0
The Tigers stunned the lacrosse world by blitzing Good Counsel (Md.), 16-7, as Tess McEvoy collected five goals and two assists and Mary Grace Mooney added two goals and three assists. Georgetown then edged St. Mary's (Md.), 8-7, and has a chance to continue the hot streak Wednesday at Episcopal (Va.).
7. Marriotts Ridge (Md.), 4-0
The Mustangs earned a nice 9-7 win over Glenelg (Md.) as Taylor Hensh (four goals) notched the game-winner off a feed from Nicole Grote, who had tied the game at 7. The 4-0 start shot Marriotts Ridge up the rankings.
8. Ridgewood (N.J.), 1-0
The Maroons opened the defense of their two Tournament of Champions titles by downing Morris Knolls (N.J.), 14-11, as Kaitlin Concilio scored five goals. They play at West Essex (N.J.) on Thursday.
9. Good Counsel (Md.), 3-2
After opening the season with three straight wins, Good Counsel has dropped back-to-back games to Georgetown Visitation (D.C.) and Garnet Valley (Pa.). The Falcons looked to get back on track against Bishop Ireton (Va.) before hosting New Jersey power Mendham on Wednesday.
10. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Va.), 3-2
The Saints postponed their game Monday against Notre Dame Prep due to the sudden death of a player's father. They lost to Vero Beach (Fla.), 12-11, after standout Carly Reed got her second yellow card and had to be removed. They bounced back by defeating Conestoga (Pa.), 11-6. St. Stephen's & St. Agnes hosts Holy Cross (Md.) on Wednesday.

No. 4 Notre Dame Prep (Md.) is off to a 4-0 start, capped by a 13-5 victory over league opponent John Carroll (Md.) on Friday. Coach Mary Bartel said her team is beginning to jell. "We have a group of scrappy kids. It has been a process and I think it will continue to unfold. Friday was certainly a wonderful win for us." Bartel said senior defender Elisa Liberto, senior goalie Mary-Sean Wilcox (Florida) and senior midfielder Hannah Hartman (Notre Dame) have keyed the team's success. ... Deanna Knobloch improved her 21-year record at Moorestown to an amazing 400-29-4 as the Quakers opened with an 8-3 victory over Strath Haven (Pa.). Knobloch, who hates to give herself credit, is quick to credit her assistant and husband, K.C.. She said: "There's no doubt I take pride in this milestone, but there's no way I could accomplish this without the help of so many other people. I have been lucky for the past 21 years to have amazing assistant coaches, phenomenal players and outstanding support from parents and the community." ... Harriton (Pa.) earned a key 9-7 Central League win over Springfield-Delco (Pa.) to improve to 4-0. The Rams got 12 saves from goalie Melina Avery and two goals and an assist each from Katie Melvin and Jane Henderson. ... Mount St. Joseph (Md.) rebounded from a 13-9 loss to national power Milton (Ga.) by defeating previously undefeated Holy Child (Md.), 18-6, in the AmLax Challenge in St. Petersburg, Fla. The Magic (3-1) got six goals from Olivia Gannon and standout midfield play from Emily Ehret (1 goal, 6 ground balls, 1 interception, 5 draw controls).
