Does it get any better than lacrosse on a pier overseeing the Pacific Ocean? It did for St. Ignatius, which ended Corona Del Mar's hopes of an undefeated campaign with a big intersectional high school boys' lacrosse win in California.

Also this week: Adelphi stakes its claim to No. 1 in NCAA Division II women's lacrosse with authority; Mount Hebron (Md.) beats Moorestown (N.J.) in dramatic fashion in high school girls' lacrosse; and highlights from US Lacrosse BRIDGE program affiliates.
