Video: Berger Gets SportsCenter's No. 1 Nod

from staff reports

Like many of his MLL All-Star teammates, Long Island Lizards midfielder Stephen Berger played for pride Thursday night against the U.S. men's national team.

Berger made the 40-man Team USA training squad, but will not be among the 23 players leaving next week for the FIL World Championships in Manchester, England. He's also the Men's Division associate for US Lacrosse, which oversees all U.S. national teams programs.

Berger got a measure of redemption Thursday, as his diving, no-look, backhanded goal from behind the cage that posterized Team USA midfielder Matt Zash went No. 1 in the top plays segment of ESPN's "SportsCenter." Check it out.
