'The X' Goes Behind Scenes with Bandits

from staff reports

The National Lacrosse League on Tuesday released the first webisode of “The X,” an all-access look at the Buffalo Bandits.

First webisode highlights include a few lighthearted moments from training camp with Mark Steenhuis, including a foot race in skivvies, followed by some intimidating tirades by tough-love coach Darris Kilgour.

"The X" is a four-part series that combines to make a 22-minute documentary/reality show hybrid similar to HBO’s "24/7" series. It offers exclusive, never-before-seen-footage of the Bandits’ training camp, locker room and practice leading up to the beginning of the 2010 NLL season, and including the Bandits’ season opener.

“The X” was shot and edited by Bandits production staff members Drew Boeing, Mark Blaszak and Jason Wiese, and made possible by Executive Producer Chrisanne Bellas and Creative Director Frank Cravotta.
The remaining installments of the four-part series will be released every Tuesday at 2 p.m. “The X” can be viewed on NLL.com as well as Bandits.com.

Buffalo opens the 2011 season Saturday at Calgary.
