In a trade completed on Friday, the National Lacrosse League's Rochester Knighthawks have traded transition players Paul Rabil, Jordan Hall, Joel White and Rob Campbell, plus a second-round selection in the 2014 Draft to the Philadelphia Wings for forward Dan Dawson, defenseman Paul Dawson and a first-round selection in the 2016 Draft.

The Wings acquire four transition players, including Rabil, who won a championship with the Washington Stealth in 2010. The deal was announced on NLL.com Friday morning.

Its the third time Rabil has been traded in the last 10 months, as he's sought to play closer to his Baltimore home. Washington traded him to Edmonton last February. He held out there, and asked to be shipped to an Eastern U.S. market, and was traded to Rochester in July

Lacrosse Magazine's Neil Stevens reported in November that Rabil "may or may not play for Rochester" and would otherwise be traded to another team in the East Division, with Philadelphia a possibility as 75 percent of the Wings roster comes from the U.S. — an exception in the Canadian-dominated NLL.

Hall scored 31 points in 10 games last season before undergoing season-ending knee surgery in March. White played in six games as a rookie last season, collected 34 loose balls.

Rochester acquires one of the game's top playmakers in Dan Dawson, who was second in assists last season (78) and third in points (103).

Paul Dawson is a defenseman who played in all 16 of the Wings' games last season, picking up 53 loose balls and forcing eight turnovers.
