Hall of Fame Goalie Eliuk Joins Mammoth Staff

from Press Release

DENVER – The Colorado Mammoth coaching staff boasts several of the top minds and strategists in the sport. Now add Dallas Eliuk to the mix. On Friday, the team announced that the NLL Hall-of-Famer will coach the goaltenders.

"Dallas is the best to ever play his position, and was one of the greatest lacrosse players of all time," said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett. "He will mentor our young netminders, and will help our offense understand opposing goalies."

Eliuk was a four-time NLL champion with the Philadelphia Wings, a franchise he backboned for fifteen years. The 2009 Hall of Fame inductee's career culminated with a three-year stint in Portland.

In nearly two decades in the NLL, the Vancouver, British Columbia native amassed 6,356 saves in more than 9,700 minutes played. Eliuk's save total was the most in league history upon retirement.
