Chestnut Hill Makes Change at Helm
from press release
Former assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Mike Terranova
will assume responsibilities as interim head coach for the upcoming
fall season. Richard Carrington has resigned as head men's lacrosse
coach at Chestnut Hill. The Griffins finished 4-11 overall and 0-10
in the East Coast Conference (ECC) as a first-year program.
Director of Athletics and Recreation, Lynn Tubman is confident that the direction of the men's lacrosse program will remain positive and that Terranova can lead the Griffins during this period of transition.
"We thank Richard for all of his good work at the College and wish him the best in his future endeavors. We have appointed Michael Terranova, our assistant men's lacrosse coach, to serve as our interim head coach while we conduct a search for a new head coach. Chestnut Hill College has complete confidence in Michael Terranova's ability to lead the program through the fall season."
A search for a new head coach will begin promptly at Chestnut Hill College. Information concerning the position's reopening will be available shortly.
