MCLA D-II Coaches Poll: The Field Takes Shape

A couple of tournaments wrapped over the weekend and we have our first automatic qualifiers for the 2013 Greenville bracket. Most notable is St. Thomas, which cruised to another UMLL championship after defeating St. John's. Liberty made sure they are heading to nationals after rolling through three games in the three days during the SELC tourney. Sam Houston State won the LSA tourney, but that league does not have an AQ, so the Bearkats will have to wait until Selection Sunday for the official word, although they are looking good for entrance at this point.

Who's Hot

SCAD (+5): The Bees made a spirited run to the championship game of the SELC tourament, but couldn's solve Liberty.

Who's Not

Two teams (-2): Dayton and Elon fell down a couple of pegs after suffering first round conference tournament setbacks.

Who's New

Nobody.
