Rock Trim Training Camp Roster, Cut Five

TORONTO – Toronto Rock General Manager Terry Sanderson announced today that five players have been released by the club. The moves leave the Rock with 32 players still in camp. All NLL teams must be down to 26 players (23 Active Roster, 3 Practice Roster) by December 22nd.
2011 NLL Entry Draft selections Kyle Davis and Phil Rawn along with Martin Whittaker, Colin McDowall and Craig Robertson were all released and are now free agents.
The Rock will continue training camp this week before boarding a plane for Langley, British Columbia to face the Washington Stealth on Saturday night at 7pm PT at the Langley Events Centre. The game is a rematch of the last two Champion's Cup finals with the Rock and Stealth having split the last two NLL titles.
On Sunday, December 18th the Rock will wrap up their pre-season schedule with an exhibition scrimmage against the Minnesota Swarm at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Six Nations, Ontario. The matchup is open to the public and there is no charge for admission. Game time is 4pm.
